Ms. Normandin joined the firm in October 2005. Her responsibilities include conducting due diligence and feasibility reviews, opportunities and constraints analysis, site planning for residential and commercial projects, and conceptual project design. She is responsible for analyzing and consulting on plans and designs for land use subdivisions, lot line adjustments and boundary changes, and commercial, industrial, residential, and public facility development projects. In addition, she assists clients in obtaining permits and entitlements for land use developments.
Her experience includes designing conceptual site plans using freehand sketching and AutoCAD Civil 3D software; preparing Specific Plans; creating project presentations; and performing due diligence, analysis, and other background research regarding development regulations, and zoning and development policies. Ms. Normandin has also prepared circulation, coastal access, pedestrian, and signage plans.
Prior to receiving her Masters degree in Urban Regional Planning with a Physical concentration from the University of Colorado at Denver, Ms. Normandin worked in the environmental consulting field after receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science with a Multidisciplinary emphasis from Metropolitan State College of Denver. She performed Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA's) for facility siting and property transactions, Phase II Soil and Groundwater Investigations and Remediation, and Monitored Natural Attenuation (MNA) of Petroleum and Chlorinated Hydrocarbons.
