For 30 years, EMC has been providing land use and environmental planning consulting services to public and private clients throughout California. In those 30 years, we have seen the birth of the internet, the dawn of a new millennium, the invention of CDs and DVDs, housing booms and busts, the emergence of "smart growth", and the challenge of global warming, just to name a few. The one thing that hasn’t changed is EMC's commitment to customer satisfaction and delivering quality products and services. To celebrate this special occasion, EMC held an open house party inviting all their friends, colleagues, and clients. Smart Business Sense! During these difficult economic times, we are doing our part to remove excesses from our business model and streamline our business operations. Toward this end, we have recently changed communication providers and restructured our communication plans to be more efficient. These changes will benefit our clients in two ways. First, the changes have reduced our base operating costs which helps to keep our overall billing rates low. It should be noted that we have not increased our billing rates in the past three years. Second, the changes will eliminate the need to pass through direct communication costs to our clients for phone and fax services. This will directly save our clients approximately $1200 per year. We continually strive to improve our business and streamline our operations to provide the best possible services to our clients at the best possible price.
